Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!! Just wanted to do a quick post and show y'all what I'm wearing for all the Christmas festivities! I tried the water marbling effect on my nails a few days ago and I think it turned out all right! I painted a shimmery gold on my nails for the base coat and then swirled a sparkly red, silver, and light green in a Tupperware container of cold water. I taped all of my nails to help with clean-up and then dipped each nail upside down into the water. It was my first time trying this out and I love it! I'm excited to start using bright colors for spring and summer!

My nana and our friend Bob are in town for the holidays, so we've gotten to have a lot of quality family time. :) Such a nice change from the stress of school! Today was just a leisurely day by the Christmas tree- opening presents and eating lots of little goodies. Good thing I went running today! Off to eat Christmas dinner- the turkey smells delicious!

Have a wonderful Christmas with your friends and family!
Love, Annie

Oh, Christmas Tree

I thought the title of this post was appropriate, as my family and I were decorating our Christmas tree when I took these photos! This is one of my favorite polishes to wear during the holiday season. Bright red+sparkle= love. The polish is Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear nail color in "Red Carpet". I painted on two coats and it didn't chip for almost two weeks! I never get tired of this color.

Happy Holidays!

Welcome!

Hello! Wow, where do I begin? I have been a HUGE fan of nail polish (and food) since I was a tiny tot. My mom and I have two large plastic bins full of nail polishes in every color. As a little girl, I loved to sort through the bins with my mom and paint my nails. Years later and nothing has changed! Now that I am FINALLY on winter break, I decided to share my love of nail polish in the form of this blog! I also love to bake and cook so I'll try to post some photos of my successful (and maybe unsuccessful!) creations too, in addtion to restaurant dishes. I'm no professional- I like to experiement with different polishes and have fun. We'll see what happens. :)

Thank you so much for checking out my blog! I love you for looking at it.
Enjoy!
